Our Process
From the moment you walk into our PAI Medical Group clinic for a consultation, or begin your Virtual Consultation, you will know that your decision to find a solution for your hair loss with PAI is the correct one.
Your Hair Transplant Consultation
The consultation process is the first step in having your hair loss diagnosed. You will meet with a health care professional / patient who has been through the process himself and has 12 years of experience in the field. All consultations with PAI Medical are private, complimentary, and confidential. With new presentation technology developed by PAI Medical Group, your consultation will be engaging, interactive and will answer all your questions and concerns about your hair loss and your hair loss options.
During The Consultation
- You will meet with an actual patient who’s had the process done.
- You will have a complete hair-and-scalp analysis using a high powered light scope.
- You will see before-and-after pictures of patients that had hair loss similar to yours.
- You will have a “computer imaging” session where we can show you how you will look with more hair or even how you may look with more hair loss if you choose to delay treatment.

The Hair Transplant Post-Procedure
Activity should be restricted during the first 24 hours after the procedure, and strenuous exercise should be avoided from 5-7 days.
Post-Operative Activities
The procedure is considered a "mild" outpatient surgery. However, for the first 10 days you will notice some pinkness to your scalp. Like a sunburn, the pinkness subsides with each passing day. Additionally, you will have some small scabs -about the size of a strawberry seeds- in the transplanted areas. Typically, 10% of the grafted area will have these small scabs. After the 4th day the scabs will begin to shed and generally are completely gone within 10-days. You can wear a hat or use makeup to cover any pinkness or small scabs if needed. Some patients can simply cover the pinkness and scabs with the hair they still have.
After the procedure you should not do anything physically demanding such as working out or lifting anything heavy for at least 10 days. You will feel fine the following day after surgery and feel as if you can go about your regular routine. However, you do not want to do this. The less exertion you put yourself through, the quicker you will heal and the better your results will be.
Returning to work is up to you. Some patients will return to work the next day, but it is important not to exert yourself. Generally speaking, you may find that taking an additional day or two off from work is best for you.
Post-Operative Treatment Programs
We strongly recommend patients consider a hair loss prevention routine following the procedure to help maintain the non-transplanted hair. Joel is the
