Follow here for Chris Lucky hair transplant progress. In 2019, Chris Lucky brightened Hippie Radio’s morning show with his unique personality. Because he had major hair loss, he decided to have a Multi-Unit Hair Grafting™ procedure at PAI Medical Group. It had been more than 20 years since he had hair on the top of his head, and it was extremely exciting to watch it grow back. Week by week, as the hair grew in, Chris shared his progress with fans.
It was 5 months after the procedure when he was tragically diagnosed with throat cancer. His fans were devastated and so was the staff here at PAI / We Grow Hair. He took time off from the station and began an aggressive chemotherapy and radiation regimen in order to recover from this destructive disease. People often lose their hair during any challenging illness as the body attempts to refocus all its effort on getting well. Although it wasn’t his main priority, he really didn’t want to lose his hair after all that progress.
It’s over a year later. His cancer is gone! As he gets healthier, his hair is recovering as well! Watch his latest video to hear the details about both his hair journey and his life journey.
It’s been a couple years since Chris Lucky had his hair surgery and a bout with throat cancer. We are so excited to show you his progress, and we are thankful that he is doing so well.
Chemotherapy may have temporarily complicated his hair transplant, but it didn’t stop his final outcome. His hair continues to thicken and get healthier.
