Hair transplantation into the crown is done to match the normal spiral or swirl most people have. The tiny hair seeds are placed very carefully in a way that when the hairs begin to grow in again, they mimic the natural look of the crown.
While many patients are not as bothered with Crown hair loss as they are with Frontal hair loss, some are. It is important to note, many hair transplant surgeons won’t transplant the crown area because of the difficulty in matching the look and because of the potential for future hair loss.
