Stop Drawing on Your Eyebrows.
An Eyebrow transplant can enhance your appearance by framing and accentuating one of your most noticeable features – your eyes. Not only do eyebrows complement your eyes, they protect them as well. In addition, full eyebrows animate facial expressions, helping you to communicate better. There are several reasons why women suffer from thinning or transparent eyebrows. You might have thin eyebrows due to over-plucking, or you may have lost your eyebrow hair because you have aged and suffer from genetic hair loss. Some people are just born with thin eyebrows and would like to improve their appearance.
This Will Be Our Secret.
So Natural Looking Nobody Will Know.
During an eyebrow transplant, hair is moved from your donor area to bare spots in your eyebrows. Hair follicles are artistically and strategically placed in the correct direction and angle so your eyebrows will look completely natural. There is one difference though. When the new hair is moved, it will behave the same way it did before it was harvested. That means it will grow more quickly than regular eyebrow hair and you will have to trim it frequently. Over time, the transplanted hair will often adapt a slower growth rate more like the native eyebrow hairs.
The Science is Simple.
Easy to Understand Plan for Your Eyebrows.
The science of an eyebrow transplant is almost identical to a regular hair transplant. Hair is taken from the “safe zone” and transplanted to areas where hair is missing. The safe zone is the healthy ring of hair on the sides and back of the head where hair is resistant to DHT which causes hair loss. In the case of an eyebrow transplant, the hair is actually taken from the lower portion of the occipital region where hair grows finer, softer and more slowly. When the hair is moved, it will retain those genetic attributes and keep growing permanently.See Photos
Two Ways to Harvest Your Hair:
The ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplant is the first robot assisted FUE procedure. Normally used in conventional hair transplants, PAI / We Grow Hair is one of the first clinics to use the ARTAS for eyebrow transplants. The downside to this FUE procedure is that the back of ones head must be shaved to harvest donor hair. which is not typically optimal for women’s hair styles.
1No Linear Scar
Multi-Unit Hair Grafting™.
The MUHG Harvesting technique was co-developed right here in PAI Nashville. Although it involves a paper thin linear scar, the advantages are worth it, especially for women. Unlike FUE, the back of your head does not have to be shaved when hair is harvested for the procedure.
