For women, losing your hair can be very difficult but for Amy it was even more devastating. Amy was born with thinning hair in her mid-scalp area. Growing up was difficult until finally she was old enough to correct her debilitating hair loss. Now she can style her hair just like any other woman her age.
When I was born, there was a large area on the top of my head that had no hair and it never did grow in. Doctors said it would always be that way. I could never do my hair like the rest of my friends and got teased a lot. Finally after high school, I decided to do something about my hair loss. For women, losing your hair is a little different. We are so much into hair styles, make-up, fashion, and now I can fit in with everyone else. My family and friends were 100% behind my decision. When the results were all finished and my hair was in, they were glad that I’d had it done. I’m really glad I made this decision. It looks great.
