These photos were taken before Alex’s hair transplant procedure was about to begin. The goal is to address receding areas and enhance his frontal hairline. At We Grow Hair, we meticulously document each patient’s journey with comprehensive before and after photos of hair transplant results. Alex chose to allow us to shave his entire head for the procedure, though this is not mandatory.

During the first 24-48 hours post-procedure, pain medication is prescribed; nevertheless, many patients prefer using Tylenol to manage the minimal discomfort associated with a hair transplant. Throughout the initial week, we advise patients to restrict strenuous activities to allow proper healing of the transplanted areas and suture line. Patients may also wear a loose-fitting, clean hat for comfort. As the weeks progress, you can anticipate:
  • Scabs and crusts to form
  • Some redness/tenderness
  • Itching when transplanted area starts to heal
  • Limited strenuous activity until sutures are removed

What About the Suture Line?

We Grow Hair patients need not be concerned about ugly scars after a hair transplant. Our doctors use a special suture technique called Trichophytic Closure. Scar visibility is reduced because each side is beveled allowing the hair to grow back through the scar. You may be wondering why our patients opt for a strip procedure when We Grow Hair also offers FUE? Patients get twice as much hair with our Multi-Unit Hair Grafting™ procedure. With a scar so minimal, the density is worth it.
