You’ll be the center of attention on the day of your procedure as the surgeon designs a plan based on your specific hair restoration needs. No two transplants are alike because personalized graft sizes and unique graft count guarantee the most natural-looking result.
More Hair. Fewer Procedures.
Your density will depend on hair color, hair texture, donor hair quality, hair loss area, number of prior procedures, elasticity, medications, age and health.
An Investment You Can Feel Good About.
Every patient is different but one thing is certain. You will get the most density possible in a single procedure based on your specific situation.
More Density = More Hair = Less Procedures = Better Value.
We Don’t Charge By the Graft.
How Much Coverage with That Transplant?
Don’t worry about graft counting. At PAI, we don’t charge by the graft. We charge by the coverage. When you invest in a Multi-Unit Hair Transplant™, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting before you get it. The plan is easy to understand, which makes the entire process worry free.
Best Donor Health.
And a Stealthy Suture Line
With MUHG, a thin 1 cm strip of tissue (about the width of a Popsicle stick) is harvested from the most densely packed area in the back of the head. This leaves the surrounding area untouched and potentially available for future procedures if necessary. Too many FUE procedures compromise the donor area by leaving small circular scars throughout, which limits the number of potential procedures during the patient’s lifetime.
Our suturing technique leaves an extremely fine line that will not show through most short hairstyles. (picture shows patient’s hair shaved revealing fine linear scar) It’s so thin that even with the ARTAS FUE procedure in-house, many consider this strip hair restoration because the results are so impressive.
This patient needed a small second procedure (ARTAS). His head was shaved revealing a prior MUHG linear scar, which is hard to see.
Easier for the Staff. Easier for You.
A special grafting technique shortens the length of the procedure. The average MUHG procedure lasts approximately 3-5 hours. Less time means more comfort for the patient and no hair attrition. Hair attrition is a condition where some of the hair that is transplanted “dies-off” before it is transplanted back into the scalp. Typically, procedures lasting longer than 6 hours result in a higher percentage of hair attrition.
Every Hair is Important.
Eliminating Accidental Hair Destruction
Manual FUE involves harvesting with a small hand punch device. Some punches are automated but in both cases the physician or technician must guide a hollow punch device over the small hair, or group of hairs, and thread them through the middle of the punch. It can be a challenge to extract the hair or hairs without damaging them or the important surrounding / supportive tissue.
Our unique harvesting technique handles delicate hairs carefully avoiding transection.
