Exceptional Technology

A Strategic, Realistic Plan
developed by the surgeon to ensure grafts are placed with proper density, never spread too thin, so results look full, natural, and stand the test of time.
How Much Density Can you realistically Achieve with FUE?
While we have always achieved excellent density through careful graft placement and natural distribution, as seen in these results, we have further enhanced our process by adding the WAW Duo. This latest hybrid technology allows us to harvest even healthier, more robust follicles with minimal disruption. By combining our proven experience with this new level of precision, we ensure the best possible balance of density and coverage.
It remains important to have realistic expectations; FUE is a strategic tool for restoration, not a one-time fix for larger cases.

Our Job is to Protect Your Grafts
HypoThermosol® + ATP Graft Preservation
We protect every graft using a premium preservation system that combines HypoThermosol with Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). This advanced solution is designed to maintain optimal temperature, reduce cellular stress, and supply the energy follicles need while outside the body. By supporting cell viability at a deeper level, this approach helps maximize graft survival, promote stronger growth, and ultimately deliver more consistent, natural-looking results.

FAQs about WAW FUE Hair Transplants
Is WAW FUE Hair Transplant expensive?
The cost of a WAW procedure is more expensive than our High Density Hair Grafting (HD/HG) and slightly less than our ARTAS Robotic procedure. Hair transplants generally run between 5K-16K. We encourage you to schedule a free consultation to find out more. Don't forget to ask about our financing options.
What type of anesthesia is used?
Because a hair transplant is a minor procedure, it does not require general anesthesia. A numbing medication is used to prevent pain, and relaxation medication helps patients feel tranquil during the process.
How long is the procedure
The WAW FUE procedure can take up to 6-10 hours from start to finish.
Will I have a scar?
Designed to minimize visible scarring in the donor area
The WAW uses a unique punch that:
- Scores the skin gently at the surface
- Reduces deeper tissue trauma
It’s important to note that outcomes depend heavily on the surgeon and technique. Even with advanced technology, a poorly performed procedure by inexperienced person can still result in noticeable scarring.
Is it permanent?
Ever notice how elderly people typically lose hair on the top up their head but not the sides or the back? Hair in the back of your head is more resilient and resistant to DHT (a hormone that causes hair loss). During a hair transplant, hair is relocated from the back (the donor area) to balding areas. The donor hair retains its DHT resistant attributes, meaning that it will be as permanent as it was in its original location. In most cases, this means that the hair will remain for a lifetime unless it's affected by medication, disease, or some other unusual circumstance.
Why would anyone choose FUT when you also offer FUE?
More hair can be transplanted in one High Density Hair Grafting (HD/HG) procedure. More hair means less procedures. The WAW FUE procedure is not ideal for those with significant hair loss or hair loss in the crown area. The WAW FUE procedure is also a larger financial investment.
Will I need a second transplant?
Your expectations, amount of hair loss, and condition of your existing donor hair play a major role in whether you’ll need more than one procedure. Your medical consultant can help you set realistic expectations and develop a plan that's right for you.
How does WAW FUE work?
Experience a gentler hair transplant with the WAW FUE System. Its innovative "trumpet" design follows your hair's natural growth pattern, protecting every graft to ensure maximum thickness and a seamless, natural finish.
How is the surgeon involved?
A skilled surgeon is essential to the WAW FUE process.
At We Grow Hair, you are in expert hands during a WAW FUE procedure. The surgeon leads every vital step—designing your new hairline, carefully extracting follicles with the WAW tool to prevent damage, and meticulously placing each graft. This high level of surgeon-led care is what guarantees your results look natural and last a lifetime.
How does WAW FUE compare to Neograft?
- Choose WAW FUE if your priority is maximum graft survival, minimal scarring, and precision, especially in complex cases or high-density transplants.
- Choose NeoGraft if your priority is speed and a fully automated process, with less dependence on surgeon tactile input.
Is an WAW Procedure painful?
The WAW FUE procedure is designed to be a comfortable procedure. To minimize any discomfort, a topical anesthetic is applied to the scalp. Immediately following the procedure, you may experience mild to moderate soreness, which can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol. Most patients report minimal pain and discomfort overall.
When will I see results?
It takes time for transplanted hair to grow. You can start to see initial signs of hair growth around 3-4 months after your WAW procedure. However, it's important to remember that it takes approximately 12-14 months to fully appreciate the final results of your hair restoration.
